Rebecca Shaykin, Leon Levy Assistant Curator, speaks about the process of organizing the exhibition Masterpieces & Curiosities: Alfred Stieglitz’s The Steerage. Shaykin will be joined by William Roka, Operations Assistant at the South Street Seaport Museum. Roka is also an independent scholar whose research focuses on the history of transatlantic travel and ocean liners in the early 20th century.

  • Ticket holders are encouraged to arrive promptly, as seating is not guaranteed once a program has begun.

  • If your ticket was emailed to you, present the ticket on your mobile device or the print-out of your ticket.
  • Tickets purchased for events and programs at the Museum include admission to the galleries on the day of the program during regular Museum hours.
