Learn about abstraction’s role as a tool of political expression in the wake of the Russian Revolution on this tour led by Chris Gartrell, Associate Manager of Adult Programs. Explore the meaning behind competing styles employed by artists Marc Chagall and Kazimir Malevich during their time at the People’s Art School in Vitebsk in the exhibition Chagall, Lissitzky, Malevich: The Russian Avant-Garde in Vitebsk, 1918 - 1922

  • Tickets purchased for events and programs at the Museum include admission to the galleries on the day of the program during regular Museum hours.
