Join us for a weekly series of in-depth explorations of select works of art on view in Scenes from the Collection, the Museum’s rotating collection exhibition featuring nearly 600 works from antiquities to contemporary art — many of which are on view for the first time.

What is queerness and how is it explored in painting? Chris Gartrell, Associate Manager of Adult Programs, considers these questions in works from the Jewish Museum’s collection by Ross Bleckner, Gert Wollheim, and Deborah Kass.

Included with Museum Admission; RSVP Recommended

Deborah Kass, Subject Matters, 1989. Purchase: Barbara S. Horowitz and Joan C. Sall Gifts.
