Associate Registrar

The Jewish Museum is seeking a full-time Associate Registrar for a fixed term twenty-month position. Under the supervision of the Head Registrar, and working collaboratively with the Museum’s Registration, Collections Management, Curatorial, and Exhibition Management staff, the Associate Registrar will manage registration, primarily, for a largescale collection reinstallation project. This position requires flexibility to work on-site as often as five days per week and demonstrated knowledge of current professional museum registration standards and best practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a team of registrars to manage the deinstallation and reinstallation of the Museum’s permanent collection galleries on the 3rd and 4th floors of the Museum, and a temporary exhibition of collection highlights.
