Platinum-Selling Musician Lisa Loeb Performs Two Concerts for Families at the Jewish Museum October 22

New York, NY, October 17, 2017 – Singer-songwriter Lisa Loeb will perform two concerts for families on Sunday, October 22 at the Jewish Museum, at 11:30 am and at 2:00 pm. The Los Angeles-based mother of two is making her debut at the Jewish Museum, and will play songs from her kids’ albums Catch the Moon, Nursery Rhyme Parade!, and Parents’ Choice Gold Award winner Feel What U Feel, and other catchy pop melodies.
A trailblazing independent artist, Lisa Loeb was the first pop musician to have a number one single while not signed to a recording contract with the platinum-selling hit song “Stay (I Missed You)” from the film Reality Bites. She continues her career writing songs for both adults and kids, including composing the music for the children’s television series If You Give a Mouse a Cookie. She also writes children’s books, acts and does voiceover work for animated series such as Disney Junior’s Jake and the Neverland Pirates and Doc McStuffins, and supports non-profit causes including her Camp Lisa Foundation, which helps send kids to camp. Lullaby Girl, an album of soothing songs for all ages featuring a quartet of world-class jazz musicians, has just been released on Amazon Originals.
Tickets are $16 general; $13 Jewish Museum family level members. This concert is for children ages 3 to 8. Adults are asked to accompany their children. Tickets can be purchased online here. For further information regarding family programs at the Jewish Museum, the public may call 212.423.3337.
