Middle and high school students are invited to view award-winning documentaries that examine current social issues such as representation and identity, immigration, and civil rights followed by Q&A sessions with filmmakers.

Edmund de Waal and Sandee Brawarsky in Conversation

Join celebrated artist and author of the bestselling memoir The Hare with Amber Eyes, Edmund de Waal, and journalist and author Sandee Brawarsky for a wide-ranging conversation about his recently-published works and their intricate mapping of objects and their stories. In addition to speaking about de Waal’s work as an author, they discuss the current exhibition at the Jewish Museum, and his ceramic installations that investigate themes of history, memory, identity, exile, and displacement.
