Ages 3 to 5

Session dates: Wednesdays Feb 26, March 4, 11, 18, 25 + April 1, 2020

This six-week program for preschoolers and their families explores how music and art playfully intertwine. In this session, we will look at lines & shapes in art, exploring the galleries in Scenes from the Collection to find the variety of ways artists use lines and shapes to express themselves! Sing songs and move our bodies relating to the theme with live accompaniment by a professional musician from The Diller-Quaile School of Music. Families will then experiment with these art elements in the studio through collage and create a whimsical mobile.
