Ages 4 & up
Get creative with other families in our new monthly series of virtual art workshops. Each month, explore a new theme related to holidays, the Museum’s collection, or special exhibitions.
Create a vibrant abstract design inspired by artists in the Jewish Museum’s collection such as Sol LeWitt and Joan Snyder. Learn stencil techniques and explore fun ways to combine shapes and color using paint, colored pencils, or markers.
Materials to gather at home for workshop:
A few sheets of blank paper
Scissors
Tape
Color pencils and/or markers and/or paint
Sponge and/or paint brush (optional)
White base paper (card stock weight if possible)
Thin cardboard (cereal box weight) cut into 4 pieces about 5.5x8.5”
