Join us for a virtual family tour and art-making experience inspired by our popular Picture This! series designed as an at-home opportunity for families.

Discover the story of Purim through whimsical objects, striking masks, and imaginative groggers created by artists in the Jewish Museum's collection. Get inspired and design your own playful puppet for the holiday or invent your own character using fabric, cardboard, and other materials you find at home.

Materials needed:
Thin cardboard such as tagboard, cardstock or a pasta box
Construction paper or other colorful decorative paper
Markers
Gluestick
Chopstick, dowel or branch
Heavy duty tape such as duct tape, packing tape or masking tape 

Ages 3 and up

Free with RSVP.

RSVP for Zoom link, one ticket per family.

While this program is presented free with RSVP, we appreciate your support of family programs at the Jewish Museum. The optional purchase of one ticket per household helps support our online concert series and virtual art workshops and tours for families.

Tickets can be purchased in-person at the Museum's Admissions Desk during regular Museum hours, excluding Saturdays.

Ticket Policies

  • Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that seating is limited; we recommend purchasing tickets in advance.
  • Ticket holders are encouraged to arrive promptly, as seating is not guaranteed once a program has begun.
  • Tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded.
  • If your ticket was emailed to you, present the ticket on your mobile device or the print-out of your ticket.
  • Tickets purchased for events and programs at the Museum include admission to the galleries on the day of the program during regular Museum hours.
