In this virtual workshop, explore the work of sculptor Louise Bourgeois and her relationship to Freudian psychoanalysis. Participants will experiment with materials and respond to images from the exhibition Louise Bourgeois, Freud’s Daughter through a combination of drawing, sculpture, and writing exercises. This class will take place on Zoom and includes live instruction.

A list of required materials will be provided in advance of the workshop. Participants should have access to a computer with a camera and WiFi and will receive a Zoom link prior to the program date.

  • Ticket holders are encouraged to arrive promptly, as seating is not guaranteed once a program has begun.

  • If your ticket was emailed to you, present the ticket on your mobile device or the print-out of your ticket.
  • Tickets purchased for events and programs at the Museum include admission to the galleries on the day of the program during regular Museum hours.
