Jump to the roots-reggae-pop tunes of Josh and the Jamtones with sounds that bring the whole family to their feet. Fronted by singer/songwriter Josh Shriber, the Jamtones have taken the kindie music scene by storm with their rock-and-roll dance parties. Hear re-imagined classics such as "O Hanukkah," songs with a modern twist including "Hanukkah Time," and "Let Your Lite Shine Bright" to get into the spirit of the holiday.
When asked about his music Shriber shares, "our unique sound is as if Paul Simon was hanging out with the Mighty Bostones at Bob Marley's house."
Josh will be joined by a cast of Jamtone Pals, adding their magical musical talents to each of the songs including; Kara Kulpa on mandolin, violin and vocals, pianist and award-winning composer/arranger Steve Bass, and 2021 Grammy winner Joanie Leeds will join Josh for a brand new Hanukkah original.
This performance is Free with RSVP, one ticket per household. YouTube link sent with email confirmation. RSVP by November 23 to receive a direct link through email at the time of the premiere. Check spam folder if you do not receive email.
About Josh and the Jamtones:
Josh Shriber is the owner and director of Jammin' With You in Wellesley, MA, and the principal songwriter and band leader for Josh & the Jamtones. Shriber opened JWY! in 2008 as a vehicle to deliver his own brand of fun, high-energy music education to children and families. Thirteen years later, JWY has expanded to dozens of preschools, temples and other early education centers throughout greater Boston, NYC and expanding throughout the country.
Josh and the Jamtones have played hundreds of shows across the U.S., and shared the stage with Dave Matthews, Jack Johnson, Yo Gabba Gabba, The Wiggles, Fresh Beat Band and the Roots! The band has recorded a dozen records and been on countless national tours, bringing quirky, musical bravado into the lives and homes of thousands of children and their families. On a personal note, Josh is a dedicated husband, father, and friend, and always tries to be the funniest guy in the room. He is a fitness aficianado who recently competed on American Ninja Warrior. Josh also enjoys jumping, spinning, climbing, yoga-ing, circuit training, running, and thumb wrestling little children.
