In this two-part virtual workshop taught by artist Mark Joshua Epstein, create paintings inspired by works on view in the exhibition New York: 1962-1964. Participants will learn about color mixing and transparency in acrylic paint and will explore color pouring and hard-edge painting techniques to make original abstract works on canvas. This class will take place on Zoom and includes live instruction.
A list of required materials will be provided in advance of the workshop. Participants should have access to a computer with a camera and WiFi and will receive a Zoom link prior to the program date.
All skill levels welcome.
