In this two-session workshop taught by artist Sophie Grant, experiment with painting and push the boundaries of the medium. Inspired by works on view in After “The Wild”: Contemporary Art from The Barnett and Annalee Newman Foundation Collection, create sculptural paintings using a range of unconventional surfaces and materials. Beyond the joy of moving paint around on a canvas, explore other mixed-media techniques in order to make innovative and personal three-dimensional finished pieces.

Please note that this is a two-session class. Ticket purchase is required and includes both sessions on April 19 & 26.
