1 – 3 pm EDT
Zoom, Virtual Program

In this two-part virtual drawing class taught by artist Sonya Blesofsky, participants will learn a variety of drawing techniques to create finished works based on observation. Drawing inspiration from works in the Jewish Museum's collection, the class will include exercises that explore close looking, positive and negative space, line work, and shading, along with instruction about specific approaches to composition and mark-making. Ultimately, participants will learn how to combine technique and imagery in order to tell unique stories through drawing.

Participants should have access to a computer with a camera and WiFi and will receive a Zoom link prior to the program date. All skill levels welcome.

Tickets: $35 General; $30 Jewish Museum members
Material cost: up to $30

Please note that this is a two-session class. Ticket purchase is required and includes both sessions on May 17 & 24.
