Learn observational drawing techniques through exploration of figurative works in The Sassoons while the galleries are closed to the public during this in-person class taught by artist and educator Hollie Ecker. Working from the drawings and paintings in the exhibition by John Singer Sargent and other featured artists collected by the Sassoon family, participants will be guided through a variety of observational drawing exercises, including gesture, contour, and rendering space, culminating with the completion of a finished portrait.
$35 General; $30 Members. All materials included; all skill levels welcome.
