Learn to make poetic collages from a variety of hand-painted papers in this two-session virtual workshop taught by artist and educator Rachael Abrams. Participants will create an original composition that represents a moment of ritual in their daily lives, drawing inspiration from both religious and secular works of art in the Jewish Museum Collection. Guided instruction will include sketching, writing, watercolor and collage techniques.

A list of required materials will be provided in advance of the workshop. Participants should have access to a computer with a camera and WiFi. All skill levels welcome.

Tickets: $60 General; $50 Jewish Museum members

Material cost: up to $65

Please note that this is a virtual two-session class. Ticket purchase is required and includes both sessions on October 17 and 19.
