Studio Art Session

Exploratory Color Constructions

Family

Sunday, December 17, 2023
11:30 am – 2:30 pm EST
Floor 4 Studio

Ages 3 and up

Kids and families are invited to create their own playful construction inspired by the art of Marta Minujín using building techniques such as slot construction with cardboard, layered relief, or stacking found objects. Wrap your building materials with fabric, yarn, or wire to integrate colorful textures and surfaces into your dynamic sculpture.

Explore new themes twice a month in these drop-in art workshops. Paint, draw, sculpt, or craft a work of art inspired by exhibitions on view.

Free with Museum Admission; children are free.

This is a drop-in program and no registration is required.

Also, visit our same-day Drop-in Dig program on Floor 4 between 11 am - 2 pm.
