Teen Photo Contest: Time and Tradition (Deadline May 31)

How do traditions connect generations, and how might this be represented through photography? Inspired by the Jewish Museum’s permanent collection—a unique collection of nearly 30,000 works of art and objects spanning 4,000 years of history—the Museum’s Teen Interns invite middle and high school students to submit original photographs that explore connections between history and contemporary life. This prompt is open to your creative and artistic interpretation and students may submit up to three distinct photographs.

All images and content must be the student’s own original work and free from copyright restrictions. Winning photographs will be featured on the Jewish Museum’s social media platforms. Winners will also receive an American Express gift card.

Please use this form to submit your photograph by May 31, 2024.

For more information, please email teenprograms@thejm.org.
