Zoom, Virtual Program

Jewish Museum Members are cordially invited to attend an exclusive virtual tour of Overflow, Afterglow: New Work in Chromatic Figuration, led by Barnett & Annalee Newman Curator of Contemporary Art, Liz Munsell.

Overflow, Afterglow brings together seven young artists who use color to distort the figure and expand cultural norms—whether nodding to pop culture and digital immersion, the vibrancies of their heritages, or spaces of youthful and queer liberation. Responding to the social and political turmoil of the past decade and absorbing input from different backgrounds and histories, these artists articulate new visual vocabularies.

Capacity is limited, RSVP is required.

This program is exclusive to Jewish Museum members. Join today to receive invitations to this and other special members-only events. You can also call 212.660.1519 for more information on membership or visit TheJewishMuseum.org/Join.

This program is presented with captions through Zoom. The Jewish Museum is committed to making its virtual programs accessible to all. If you have any questions, please contact the Membership Department at JMMembership@thejm.org or call 212.660.1519.
