Colorful Collage Accordion Books

Families are invited to join Sunday Gallery Explorers, a program about discovering art through close looking and creative projects. Activities range from sensory play for preschoolers to sketching, gallery hunts, and art-making with a playful mix of materials. Take your projects home after exploring!

Make a colorful collage accordion book inspired by artworks on view in the exhibition The Book of Esther in the Age of Rembrandt. Share a story of helping others through drawing and collage, layering cut-outs of photographs, magazine images, and other materials.

This program is led by a museum educator and assisted by teen interns.
