In this in-person workshop taught by artist Mark Joshua Epstein, learn how to make a collagraph print and draw inspiration from activist posters championing labor and civil rights in the exhibition Ben Shahn, On Nonconformity. Following a tour of the galleries while the Museum is closed to the public, participants will design and make their own prints. Learn the process of collagraph printmaking by building up your plate with different textures, applying ink, and transferring the image to paper using the printing press.
All skill levels welcome; all materials provided.
