Uncle Jumbo is a Houston based performer with a background in blending R&B, Hip-Hop, and Soul for adult audiences. Jumbo, who was given his nickname years earlier by his nieces, shifted to the kids music realm after writing the song "Roly Poly"– inspired by his then infant daughter learning to crawl. Since then, in a span of two years, he has released three albums, including the Parent's Choice Award winning Garden Groove. Uncle Jumbo's lively rhythmic sound is focused on joy, connection, kindness, and wellness. He's on a mission to make families feel closer by providing musical grooves to be enjoyed together by all, from the infants to the elders.
