Learn a variety of drawing techniques while exploring color, line, and composition in portraiture during this two-session virtual workshop taught by artist and educator Rachael Abrams. Inspired by the exhibition Joan Semmel: In the Flesh (through May 31, 2025) participants will use graphite, charcoal, and pastels to create a series of drawings and experiment with collage, incorporating bold color to create finished works.
A list of required materials will be provided in advance of the workshop. Participants should have access to a computer with a camera and WiFi and will receive a Zoom link following registration.
All skill levels are welcome.
