Submission Deadline: Teen Photo Contest
Other Possible Worlds
Artist Paul Klee believed imagination was essential. He wrote, “Art does not reproduce what we see. It makes us see.” For this photo contest, inspired by the exhibition Paul Klee: Other Possible Worlds, teens ages 13–18 are invited to use photography to transform something ordinary into something unexpected. Students are encouraged to play with perspective, light, scale, framing, or composition to change how we normally perceive a subject and to capture a moment that feels surreal, surprising, or dreamlike.
This prompt is open to creative and artistic interpretation. Students may submit up to three distinct photographs. All images and content must be the student’s own original work and free from copyright restrictions. Winning photographs will be featured on the Jewish Museum’s social media platforms. Winners will also receive an American Express gift card.
Please use this form to submit your photograph by June 15, 2026.
