Hadassa Goldvicht in Conversation with James S. Snyder
Presenting the Archives of our Mind
Join Hadassa Goldvicht in conversation with James S. Snyder, Helen Goldsmith Menschel Director of the Jewish Museum, as they explore Goldvicht’s most recent exhibition at the National Library of Israel, To the Internal Libraries, including the genesis of this work, how it has evolved over time, and how it informs processes of healing. Drawing on years of documenting the Library’s concealed underground spaces, Goldvicht creates imagery that moves between the physical and the metaphorical, revealing the Library as a living, evolving organism—one that contains not only collections of books, but also personal stories, collective memory, and visions of the future. Together, they will consider libraries as a metaphor for our shared collective subconscious at a moment of profound technological and cultural transformation.
This event is co-presented with the National Library of Israel. Doors open at 6 pm, reception to follow the program.
