Summer Dig and Create
Family Drop-in Program
This summer we invite families to discover artifacts across time in our simulated archaeological dig experience, then explore and create in our studio during Monday afternoon drop-in sessions. Families may encounter different art-making activities inspired by striking artworks on view, such as experimental printmaking, mixed-media collages, abstract watercolor paintings, or whimsical sculpture projects.
The archaeological dig will be open for drop-in from 2 – 4 pm, while the studio art project will be open for drop-in from 2:30 – 4:30 pm.
This program is being offered: July 13, July 20, July 27 and August 3.
Free for children. Museum admission for adults, members free.
