Adult Studio Workshop
Drawing and Monoprinting with Ben Shahn
In this virtual two-session workshop (Thursdays September 11 & 18) taught by artist Rachael Abrams, practice a variety of drawing techniques and learn how to create a monotype while exploring artworks on view in the exhibition Ben Shahn, On Nonconformity. The first session will consist of drawing exercises, while in the second session participants will experiment with water-soluble crayons to make a series of one of a kind prints.
A list of required materials will be provided in advance of the workshop. Participants should have access to a computer with a camera and WiFi and will receive a Zoom link following registration.
All skill levels are welcome.
