Participants in the ASL community are invited to explore the exhibition Modernity and Opulence: Women of the Wiener Werkstätte through a tour led by a Deaf educator. Please join us after the tour for refreshments.
Modernity and Opulence: Women of the Wiener Werkstätte sheds new light on the role that Jewish women played as artists, designers, patrons, and tastemakers in early 20th-century Vienna. This exhibition contains clothing, textiles, ceramics, toys, paintings, and more designed by this collective whose style and ideas helped shape visions of modernity in Vienna and beyond.
Due to limited capacity, ASL students will not be admitted to the program and no voice interpretation will be provided.
