Family Drop-In Program
Explore archaeology and art-making during this duo of free programs for families on select Sundays. Discover artifacts across time in our simulated archaeological dig using trowels and brushes to uncover replicas, magnify details, and sketch within your own Archaeologist notebook. Then get creative in our studio and experience different art-making processes including printmaking, collage, painting, and sculpture, inspired by striking artworks on view in the Museum.
The archaeological dig will be open for drop-in from 11:30 am – 2:30 pm.
The studio art session will be open for drop-in from Noon – 3:00 pm.
RSVP is recommended. This program is free for both adults and children. Please RSVP for each member of your family. Walk ups are also welcome.
