Virtual Tour and Workshop

Dec. 10, 2025 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm
Zoom, Virtual Program

Participants with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias and their care partners are invited to join a lively and creative program that encourages personal connections to original works of art and each other. This program will explore Identity, Culture, and Community: Stories from the Collection of the Jewish Museum through facilitated discussions, multi-sensory experiences, and gallery activities.

The Jewish Museum’s collection galleries trace the rich history of Jewish culture across the global diaspora. It will explore topics such as Jewish ritual, migration, memory, identity, feminist art, and how Jewish identity and experience are being interpreted in contemporary works. The two floor installation will be joined visually by a monumentally scaled installation of more than 120 Hanukkah lamps, underscoring the central meaning of light as a symbol of enlightenment and hope across cultures.

All Access Programs are free of charge and require advance reservation. If you have any questions or need accommodations, please contact [email protected] or 212.423.3289. If you are interested in observing this program, please reach out to us before registering.
