New! Simulated Archaeological Dig Workshop (Canceled)
A Program for Educators
Join us for an opportunity to experience the Jewish Museum’s newly reimagined simulated archaeological dig! Learn about the archaeological process and discover what artifacts can teach us about how groups of people lived, worked, and interacted in ancient times. View original ancient artifacts, excavate replicas of collection objects in the simulated dig, and create a mosaic or clay artifact in the Museum’s brand-new art studio. All participants will receive an educator pass for free admission to the Jewish Museum for one year and a copy of Archaeology: A Resource for Educators.
Light refreshments will be served
Tickets: $18.
A limited number of spaces are available for teachers of self-contained special education classes and special education teachers in ICT classes to register free of charge by emailing [email protected].
New York State teachers may receive 2 CTLE hours.
Register by December 9.
