For Participants with Dementia and their Care Partners

Jan. 14, 2026 2:00 pm - 4:30 pm
Exhibition Galleries, or Zoom, Virtual Program

Participants with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias and their care partners are invited to join a lively and creative program that encourages personal connections to original works of art and each other. This program will explore Anish Kapoor: Early Works through facilitated discussions, multi-sensory experiences, and art making.

Anish Kapoor: Early Works foregrounds Kapoor’s early and ongoing investigations of the boundaries of sculpture, color, and form. Displaying the artist’s pigment sculptures, the exhibition showcases Kapoor’s masterful play with perception, drawing on the psychic effects of color—and its absence—as well as the allure of objects that appear to defy their own material nature.

All Access Programs are free of charge and require advance reservation. If you have any questions or need accommodations, please contact [email protected] or 212-423-3289. If you are interested in observing this program, please reach out to us before registering.
