Joan Semmel: In the Flesh
Jewish Museum members are cordially invited to exclusive preview access to our upcoming exhibition, Joan Semmel: In the Flesh.
Spotlighting Semmel’s singular perspective, Joan Semmel: In the Flesh presents the artist’s iconic paintings and self-images alongside works from the Museum’s collection to explore parallel themes of the body, intimacy, and autonomy.
On this special Member Preview day, hear a brief introduction to the exhibition from a Jewish Museum curator from 2 – 2:15 pm in the Wilf Family Salon. Experience the exhibition for the first time during exclusive members-only hours from 11 am to 8 pm.
Advance registration is highly recommended for the Curator Introduction. Please reserve your free timed ticket here for 2 pm.
Please review our Visitor Guidelines before your arrival at the Museum.
Capacity is limited! We hope to see you there!
