Clara Kuperberg and Joëlle Oosterlinck’s documentary (43 min, 2010) reflects on Art Spiegelman’s childhood memories, his development into a key figure in the underground comics movement, and the evolution of his seminal work Maus. The film will be followed by a Q&A session with Emily Casden, Coordinating Curator for Art Spiegelman’s Co-Mix: A Retrospective.

General Admission tickets are sold only at the Museum and valid for the day of visitation.

Order by phone at 212.423.3337 on Monday through Thursday, 10 am – 5 pm; and Friday, 10 am – 3 pm. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.

Day-of-event phone sales close three (3) hours prior to the show. If the show is sold out, there will be a message on the box office line. There is a $1 per ticket surcharge for credit card orders.


Orders are available through our online ticket vendor, Museumtix. Online ticket sales close four (4) hours prior to the event. There is a $2 surcharge for tickets ordered on Museumtix.

In Person

Tickets can be purchased in person at the Museum's admission desk during regular Museum hours, excluding Saturdays.

Ticket Policies

  • Ticket purchase for events at the Museum includes admission to the galleries on the day of the program.
  • Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Please note that seating is limited; we recommend purchasing tickets in advance.
  • Ticket holders are encouraged to arrive promptly, as seating is not guaranteed once a program has begun.
  • Tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded.
