Artists Dona Nelson and Louise Fishman, who belong to and elaborate on the tradition of American abstraction present in From the Margins: Lee Krasner and Norman Lewis, 1945 – 1952, lead a gallery walkthrough of the exhibition. Both painters share an interest in color, gesture, and material exploration and each had work featured in the most recent Whitney Biennial.

General Admission tickets are sold only at the Museum and valid for the day of visitation.

In Person

Tickets can be purchased in person at the Museum's admission desk during regular Museum hours, excluding Saturdays.

Ticket Policies

  • If your ticket was emailed to you, present the ticket on your mobile device or print-out of your ticket.
  • If you selected “will call,” tickets will be waiting for you at our front desk will call station.
  • Ticket purchase for events at the Museum includes admission to the galleries on the day of the program.
  • Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Please note that seating is limited; we recommend purchasing tickets in advance.
  • Ticket holders are encouraged to arrive promptly, as seating is not guaranteed once a program has begun.
  • Tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded.
