Pianist and Bang on a Can All Stars member Vicky Chow performs Tristan Perich’s Surface Image for solo piano, is a monumental performance-installation with 40-channel 1-bit electronics, echoing the shimmering quality of Paris’ 19th century arcades and inspired by Walter Benjamin’s renowned essay "Art in the Age of Mechanical Reproduction."

General Admission Tickets

General Admission tickets are sold only at the Museum and valid for the day of visitation.

Order by phone Monday – Friday, 10 am – 5:45 pm through our box office call center at 866.205.1322. All phone orders are subject to a $1 per ticket surcharge. We accept all major credit cards.

Orders are available through our online ticket vendor, ACME Ticketing. If you have technical difficulties, please call 866.205.1322.

In Person

Tickets can be purchased in person at the Museum's admission desk during regular Museum hours, excluding Saturdays.

Ticket Policies

  • If your ticket was emailed to you, present the ticket on your mobile device or print-out of your ticket.
  • If you selected “will call,” tickets will be waiting for you at our front desk will call station.
  • Ticket purchase for events at the Museum includes admission to the galleries on the day of the program.
  • Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Please note that seating is limited; we recommend purchasing tickets in advance.
  • Ticket holders are encouraged to arrive promptly, as seating is not guaranteed once a program has begun.
  • Tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded.
