In this two-session virtual workshop taught by artist and educator Rachael Abrams, learn how to make photo transfers and prints using a Gelli plate. Explore the possibilities of photocollage by incorporating ephemera, found objects and other textures on top of the transferred image in order to make a composition inspired by your surroundings. Participants may choose to transfer their own images or to use copies of photographs from the Jewish Museum's permanent collection.

A list of required materials will be provided. Participants should have access to a computer with a camera and WiFi and will receive a Zoom link following registration.

All skill levels are welcome.

Tickets: $70 General; $60 Jewish Museum members

Materials cost: up to $100

Ticket purchase includes both sessions on April 4 & 11.
