The Sound of Color

Art and Music Afterschool Program

This six-week program for preschoolers and their families explores how music and art playfully intertwine. Each class will embark on a thematic musical tour of the Jewish Museum’s galleries in partnership with The Diller-Quaile School of Music followed by an art-making experience. Each class is led by both a museum and a music educator incorporating song, movement, and hands-on activities.

Professor Shalva Weil, Hebrew University of Jerusalem focuses upon members of the Sassoon dynasty in India in their Indian context, from the advent of David Sassoon to Bombay in 1832 until their departure before and after Indian independence in 1947.
