Museum members at the Friend level and above are cordially invited to attend a special in-person 120th Anniversary program with our newly appointed Helen Goldsmith Menschel Director, James S. Snyder, on Sunday, January 28, 2024 at 11 am. 

Join us for breakfast and conversation about the Museum's present and future, also providing an opportunity for James to get to know members of our Museum community. 
 
James is an esteemed leader, widely recognized for his transformative 22-year tenure as the Israel Museum's Anne and Jerome Fisher Director, where he led the Museum through the most dramatic period of growth since its founding and secured its stature as one of the world's foremost museums. 

Doors will open at 11 am, and the program will begin at 11:30 am. Members are invited afterward to explore our current exhibitions:

 • 7 October 2023: Drawings by Israeli Artist Zoya Cherkassky, the first in a series of special displays focusing on art and artists responding to real-time events of conflict and war

 • Mood of the Moment: Gaby Aghion and the house of Chloé

 • Marta Minujín: Arte! Arte! Arte!
