1 – 2 pm EST
Zoom, Virtual Program

Participants in the ASL community are invited to explore the exhibition Mood of the moment: Gaby Aghion and the house of Chloé through a virtual tour led by Alexandria Wailes.

This exhibition casts a new light on the label’s 70-year history, featuring garments as well as never-before-exhibited sketches and documents from the Chloé Archive. It showcases Chloé founder Gaby Aghion as a leader whose work altered the course of the global fashion industry in liberating women's bodies from the restrictive attitudes and styles of the time, as well as pioneering the emergence of luxury ready-to-wear. It also features other designers who began their careers with the brand, including Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney, and Phoebe Philo.

Due to limited capacity, ASL students will not be admitted to the program. This program is offered without voice interpretation.

All access programs are free of charge and require advance reservation. Please contact access@thejm.org or 212.423.3289 for more information or to register.

The Jewish Museum is committed to making its programs accessible to all. Please let us know if you need any additional accommodations.
