Drawing in Three Dimensions: Exploring Ceremonial and Abstract Objects from the Collection
During this in-person drawing workshop taught by artist and educator Hollie Ecker, learn how to translate three-dimensional objects into a two-dimensional format through the exploration of ceremonial objects and abstract sculptures on view in the newly reopened Jewish Museum collection galleries. Participants will practice a variety of drawing techniques, learning how to render form in space and show light, shadow, and reflection, working in the galleries while the museum is closed to the public.
All skill levels welcome; all materials provided.
This workshop may be taken on its own or paired with the Drawing from Portraiture class held the previous week.
