Participate in an unusual evening of discussion between Jens Hoffmann, Deputy Director, Exhibitions and Public Programs, and “Gertrude Stein,” portrayed by Carolyn Christov-Bakargiev, as part of our Wish You Were Here series of interviews with the subjects of Warhol’s Ten Portraits of Jews of the Twentieth Century (1980). Christov-Bakargiev is a former Artistic Director of dOCUMENTA (13) and current Visiting Professor in the Department of Art Theory & Practice at Northwestern University, as well as curator of the 14th Istanbul Biennial (2015).

General Admission tickets are sold at the Museum and online at TheJewishMuseum.org/Tickets.

Program and Event Tickets

Order by phone at 212.423.3337 on Monday through Thursday, 10 am – 5 pm; and Friday, 10 am – 3 pm. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.

If the program is sold out, there will be a message on the box office line.

In Person

Tickets can be purchased in person at the Museum's admission desk during regular Museum hours, excluding Saturdays.

Ticket Policies

  • If your ticket was emailed to you, present the ticket on your mobile device or print-out of your ticket.
  • If you selected “will call,” tickets will be waiting for you at our front desk will call station.
  • Ticket purchase for events at the Museum includes admission to the galleries on the day of the program.
  • Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Please note that seating is limited; we recommend purchasing tickets in advance.
  • Ticket holders are encouraged to arrive promptly, as seating is not guaranteed once a program has begun.
  • Tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded.
