Jewish Book Council Presents: Unpacking the Book

Jewish Writers in Conversation – A Grand Debut

Talk

Tuesday, February 24, 2015
6:30 – 8:30 pm
Scheuer Auditorium

The Jewish Museum is pleased to host A Grand Debut, the first program of the Jewish Book Council's new series, Unpacking the Book: Jewish Writers in Conversation. Co-sponsored by Electric Literature, the evening will feature Molly Antopol, Alexis Landau and Daniel Torday, who each recently have published a first collection of short stories or a full-length novel. The conversation will include how their “Jewishness” influences their writing, experiences on the road,  inspirations, and imagined futures. Are there similarities or trends in their work, or do they write from completely different perspectives? Let’s find out.

The Jewish Book Council invites Jewish Museum members and friends to join the event. The program is free but space is limited, please RSVP.
