Join us for a weekly series of in-depth explorations of select works of art on view in Scenes from the Collection, the Museum’s new exhibition featuring nearly 600 works from antiquities to contemporary art—many of which are on view for the first time.

Theresa Hioki, Education Associate, investigates the use of imagery associated with the atrocities of the Holocaust in Mark Rothko’s Crucifix (1941 or 1942) and Deborah Kass’s Subject Matters (1990).
