FunkeyMonkeys

Family Concert

Family

Sunday, September 22, 2019
11:30 am – 12:30 pm
Scheuer Auditorium

Ages 2 to 6

Get out your balloon tails and dancing shoes for the hilarious antics and soulful sounds of the beloved FunkeyMonkeys. Groove and giggle together with songs from the albums Mustache and Sing Dance and Underpants among other favorites. In time for the Rosh Hashanah holiday, enjoy a New Year’s dance-off with funky twists to holiday tunes while joining in with tambourines, scarves and more!

In addition, a special FunkeyMonkeys-style parody of the new film Dora & The Lost City of Gold movie titled “Dora & The Lost Shofar Of Gold,” aka “Dora & The Rosh Hashanah That Almost Wasn’t,” will be premiered during the concert.

Created by Joshua Sitron, composer for Nickelodeon's Dora the Explorer, the FunkeyMonkeys are a super-group of professional musicians, comedians, and teachers who deliver one-of-a kind performances. Described as "Seinfeld meets the Wiggles," or "Herbie Hancock's Vaudeville Bar Mitzvah.”
