Jewish Museum members are cordially invited to a members-only virtual lecture on The Sassoons led by Claudia Nahson, Morris and Eva Feld Senior Curator on Tuesday, August 8 at 3 pm.

Highlights of the exhibition include lavishly decorated Hebrew manuscripts from as early as the 12th century, Chinese art and ivory carvings, rare Jewish ceremonial art, and Western masterpieces by artists like Thomas Gainsborough, Jean-Baptiste-Camille Corot, and John Singer Sargent.
