In this virtual lecture, Dr. Brown will offer a survey of the development of the Museum over the past century in its various activities. Highlights will include major periods and individuals essential to an understanding of the Museum's role and transformation over time. Beginning in 1904 through the war and Holocaust, the gift of the Warburg Mansion, various aspects of the Museum's permanent collection and notable exhibitions, this lecture will examine these pivotal moments all within the context of the Museum's overarching mission.
