In this two-part, in-person workshop taught by artist Mark Joshua Epstein, experiment with cyanotype, watercolor, acrylic, and ink techniques to create a multimedia collage from a “dictionary” of paper surfaces. Participants will draw inspiration from works on view in the exhibition Ilit Azoulay: Mere Things, considering how objects tell stories through photography, color, blocking and revealing, transparency and opacity, and positive and negative space.
All skill levels welcome; all materials included.
$100 General; $85 Jewish Museum members
Please note that this is a two-session workshop. Ticket purchase includes both class sessions on November 3 and 10.
