1 – 2:30 pm EDT
Exhibition Galleries, Scheuer Auditorium

Families in the ASL community with kids ages 5-12 are invited to explore the exhibition Ben Shahn: On Nonconformity, and create art inspired by the works on view. Voice interpretation will be provided.

Explore the paintings, mural studies, prints, and photographs of prolific artist Ben Shahn (1898-1969), whose art investigates issues such as unemployment, discrimination, authoritarianism, and threats to freedom of expression, while championing labor, civil, and human rights.

Due to limited capacity, the space is reserved for Deaf, Hard of Hearing, CODA and family members. If you are interested in observing this tour please reach out to us at access@thejm.org before registering.
