This is a two-session workshop that takes place on April 10 and 17. Registration for this workshop includes both sessions.
In this workshop taught by artist Sheryl Oppenheim, create authentic marbled paper and collaged sculptures inspired by the use of decorative paper as an art form in the exhibition Marc Camille Chaimowicz: Your Place or Mine…

Sheryl Oppenheim (b. 1983) was raised in Orlando, Florida and currently lives in New York City. She is a painter and marbler, who began to learn the craft after encountering marbled papers at her first job in New York, at a bookbinding supply house. Her artist books are in the collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Watson Library, the New York Public Library, the Walker Art Center, the Kohler Art Library, and the Brooklyn Museum. Her work has recently been exhibited at the Cranbrook Museum of Art, the Brooklyn Academy of Music, and Small Editions, as well as galleries in New York, Los Angeles, Oakland, and Paris. She received a BA from Brandeis University and an MFA from Temple University's Tyler School of Art.
